Accounts Payable Clerk (Maternity Leave Cover)
Position Description: We are currently looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to provide Maternity Leave coverage in our friendly Shared Services team in Fortitude Valley for a 12 Month period.
Ideally, you will have at least 3 years’ experience in an accounts payable position, a strong attention to detail, and enjoy working in a small, collaborative team environment.
- Fixed Term 12 Month Maternity leave Contract
- Full Time Hours – 8:30am – 5pm Monday to Friday
- Located in our Brand-New Fortitude Valley Office
- Managing the Accounts Payable Inbox
- Process daily payments, including urgent payments
- General statement reconciliation
- Reconcile and process various payments
- Maintain up to date, accurate systems data
- Filing and other tasks as assigned by Accounts Payable Manager
Skills and Experience
- Successful completion of Year 12 school certificate
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an accounts payable position
- Experience in the shipping / logistics industry will be highly regarded
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and multi-task
- Personable and cooperative attitude

- A permanent opportunity may be offered beyond the contract period based on mutual agreement
