We are currently seeking a talented and self-assured Administration professional to manage the administration function at our Altona North site, and provide administrative support to the other sites within our Intermodal division.

This is an outstanding and very exciting opportunity for a polished and dynamic administrator to dive straight into and make this role their own.


Working closely with the Alonta Site Manager and our Head of Intermodal, our ideal candidate will be organised, efficient, have excellent communication skills and very importantly, have a can-do attitude towards their work.


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Management of all site administrative functions
  • Provision of administrative support to site management team and Head of Intermodal as required
  • Timesheet management
  • OHS Support as required
  • Coordination and management of relevant site communications including intranet updates
  • Liaison with internal and external stakeholders on various topics and projects as required
  • Report preparation and analysis as required
  • Development and implementation of internal processes to support Intermodal division goals and strategies
  • Coordination of administrative functions across intermodal division
  • Full responsibilities for the smooth and efficient running of SEAWAY Altona site
  • Coordination of meetings, conferences and events including Board Meetings and client events.


This is a senior position that requires an individual who is highly proactive, has a strong sense of initiative and a friendly, approachable manner. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years working in a similar position.

You will need to be willing and capable to take on new challenges and have the determination and creativity to find solutions where none may be apparent.

Your qualities and skills will include:

  • Professionalism, confidentiality and an acute ability to anticipate and prioritise
  • Keen commercial knowledge and business acumen
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Superior organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in meeting preparation and minute taking
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Industry experience highly regarded
