THE OPPORTUNITY

Due to increased volumes in our Export Seafreight department, we’ve identified an exciting new opportunity for a talented, proactive and dynamic Operator. Our ideal candidate will thrive in a face-paced team environment and be seeking to join a super friendly, supportive team.

Located at either our Southbank, Port Botany, Brisbane or Adelaide Airport Office, this role will be filled by someone who is experienced in Export Operations, has a passion for the Logistics industry and thrives on keeping busy.

THE ROLE

Your average day will include the following:

  • Coordinate the entire end to end Export Seafreight Perishable process
  • Liaise with suppliers, carriers, transport and warehousing providers and overseas agencies
  • Customer relationship management
  • Accurate invoice generation
  • Database management and administration
  • End to end management of export documentation
  • Raising RFP’s and liaising with DAWR to clear shipments

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Our Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Logistics Operations with experience in the perishable sector preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to think and act quickly
  • Confident email and phone manner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Tertiary Qualification in Supply Chain or International Trade
  • Cargowise One and Edisoft experience are preferred but not essential
  • Warehouse experience preferred but not essential
