SEAWAY is seeking to hire an accomplished Senior Manager with extensive experience in Liner Shipping to fill the position of Line Manager – TS Lines, in our Auckland office. This role will hold full responsibility for the leadership and management of our sales and customer service activities for TS Lines Ltd in New Zealand.
T.S. Lines was formed in Taipei July 2001 and has expanded rapidly to become a key regional carrier. From Intra Asia specialists, T.S. Lines has grown to offer an extensive service network throughout North Asia, South East Asia, Indian Sub-Continent, the Middle East, USA, Australia and now New Zealand.

Based in our Auckland office and with two direct reports, this position which will suit a strategic thinker and brilliant communicator with extensive shipping industry experience, preferably in sales and commercial management.
This role requires a proactive and assertive leader with a proven ability to perform at a senior level in an often fast-paced and demanding environment. In addition to our minimum success criteria, we will be looking for candidates with strong leadership experience as well as demonstrated success in fostering relationships with industry stakeholders and the ability to deliver business growth objectives.
This position is based in Auckland but travel to Australia will be a requirement of this position.
Minimum Success Criteria:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Senior Position within the Shipping industry
- Minimum 2 years’ experience staff management and leadership
- Exceptional sales and customer service skills
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Approachable and effective leader
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Outstanding problem-solving skills
