Our Projects, Mining and Construction division is experienced across roll-on/roll-off, break bulk, high and heavy lift, out of gauge, solar, and project cargo. The team of six offers a welcoming, collaborative environment where every team member plays an integral role in ensuring operational success.
The Position
Exciting opportunity for an Import/Export Operations Coordinator.
Join our Project, Mining & Construction (PMC) team at our Brisbane Airport office and be part of a small, highly skilled group managing specialised logistics and project cargo. This role is ideal for someone looking to expand their freight forwarding skills while working with a dynamic supportive team.
You’ll act as the main contact for logistics and project clients, coordinating and managing all import/export movements while ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Register jobs in CW1 and maintain accurate shipment details
• Liaise with clients to coordinate import/export requirements and documentation
• Arrange vessel bookings, transport, inspections, and customs documentation
• Monitor shipment progress and provide regular updates to clients
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, operations and internal teams
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
• Operational freight forwarding experience (Import and/or Export)
• Strong understanding of logistics documentation and terminology
• Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and problem-solving skills
• Confident communication with clients and carriers
• Cargowise experience will be highly regarded
• A proactive solutions-focused attitude
