THE ROLE

We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Operator to join our small warehouse team in Botany.

Your typical daily responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating the receival and dispatch of cargo in line with SOPs and OH&S standards 
• Physically loading and unloading large volumes of cargo including 20-30kg boxes 
• Forklift Operations - driving, equipment checks etc. 
• Managing incoming deliveries
• Accurately picking / labelling / packing cargo including dry, chilled, frozen and/or perishable products 
• Liaising with customers & team members 
• General housekeeping and administration 

Hours of Work

This is a full-time position but your standard days of work may vary week to week, as such availability across a 7-day roster is essential. Shift times will vary but will usually include an early morning start.


ABOUT YOU 

We are looking for motivated individuals, preferably with some experience working in a similar warehouse environment. If the following sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you!

Required Skills & Experience: 

• Current Forklift Licence and experience operating a forklift 
• Current Australian Driver's Licence & own transport 
• Physically fit and capable of repetitive light to heavy lifting, including loading and unloading PMC pallets and AKE containers
• Experienced or willing to learn correct tie down procedures for PMC Units, ensuring loads are secured in line with load plans and aviation safety regulations
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in fast paced working environments
• Willingness to learn air cargo handling procedures, including perishables management and aircraft loading requirements
• Comfortable working across varied environments, including cool rooms, chillers, and ambient
