SEAWAY is seeking a Transport Operations professional to join our Import Sea & Air team. This role plays a critical part in coordinating transport activities and ensuring freight moves efficiently from port to final destination.
Reporting to the Transport Manager you’ll work closely with customers, transport providers, warehouses, and internal teams to deliver reliable and timely outcomes. This is a full-time position ideal for someone looking to further their career in transport and freight operations.

In this role, you will manage the day-to-day coordination of import transport operations, including scheduling, tracking shipments, liaising with carriers and stakeholders, and resolving issues proactively to ensure reliable delivery performance and an exceptional standard of service.

Key responsibilities:
- Coordinating and monitoring transport bookings
- Liaising with customers, carriers, warehouses, and internal stakeholders
- Organising transport documentation and delivery requirements
- Planning and confirming pickup and delivery schedules
- Resolving operational and transport issues as they arise
- Supporting the wider team during peak periods
- Experience in import transport, freight forwarding, or logistics operations
- Working knowledge of CargoWise One
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Clear verbal and written communication
- A collaborative, adaptable approach to work
