Operations Supervisor – Botany Warehouse

About You – Required Skills & Experience

• 2–3 years’ experience in airfreight, aviation operations, or a similar supervisory role
• Experience in the perishable cargo and/or cold logistics
• Physically fit and able to meet manual handling requirements
• Demonstrated leadership capability with a hands-on approach
• Reliable, proactive, and safety-focused
• Able to work autonomously as well as part of a team
• Approachable, collaborative, and adaptable

The Role

As an Operations Supervisor, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Acting as a point of contact for customer and supplier queries 
• Overseeing and coordinating daily operational tasks to meet airline cut-offs
• Supervising the goods receipting. loading, unloading, packing and unpacking of air cargo
• Ensuring all cargo is Security Cleared and Quarantine requirements are met prior to dispatch
• Upholding and enforcing safety standards and reporting any issues
• Planning and managing workloads for operations staff
• Coaching, guiding and supporting staff to ensure high-quality performance
• Working closely with fellow supervisors, managers, and stakeholders to improve service levels, operational efficiencies and cost management

Desired:

• Forklift license  
• Advanced knowledge of OH&S regulations
• Fumigation licence will be highly regarded 
• Security Screening License will be highly regarded
