THE ROLE
The SEAWAY Group is currently looking for an experienced National Customs Manager to join our growing team.

Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll play a key role in keeping our Customs operations running smoothly while supporting and guiding a high-performing team.

Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll play a key role in keeping our Customs operations running smoothly while supporting and guiding a high-performing team.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading, mentoring and supporting the Customs team day-to-day
- Ensuring timely and compliant lodgement of customs entries
- Coordinating smooth customs and quarantine clearance of shipments
- Acting as a go-to person for problem solving and escalation support
- Working closely with clients to deliver a high level of service
- Monitoring workloads and helping the team stay on track with KPIs
- Assisting with reporting, invoicing and general administration in CargoWise One
- Supporting a positive team culture and contributing to continuous improvement
ABOUT YOU
- Licensed Customs Broker with current accreditation
- Solid experience in customs brokering, with some leadership or mentoring exposure
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Confident managing priorities and supporting a team environment
- Knowledge of Australian Customs, tariff and biosecurity requirements
- Experience with CargoWise
- 5+ years experienced as a licensed practicing broker
- Full-time, ongoing position
