SEAWAY have a fantastic opportunity in our Shipping Agencies Division for a Container Control Officer to join our team.
Reporting to the Equipment Control Manager, we are looking for a passionate shipping professional to own and manage the equipment of our Principals.
You will be joining a small, close knit team, but will work closely alongside the rest of our 30+ team members within our Agencies division in Southbank.
This role is a fantastic stepping stone for someone who has had exposure to container control or shipping documentation processes. But if you’re simply looking for a new challenge in the industry, this could be the role for you!

The Role:
- Daily management and coordination of all equipment for our Principals
- Develop and maintain a strong relationship with our Principals and internal departments
- Maintain a high level of customer service at all times
- Monitor and track status of containers and equipment using relevant Systems and in line with our Principals' requirements
- Ensure all required systems are up to date and contain accurate, relevant information
- Ad hoc administration
- Regularly prepare reports as requested
- Prepare, distribute and authorise invoices
About You:
- At least 6 months' experience in a container control or shipping documentation position
- Customer service experience in any industry
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office including Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors when inputting and reviewing data
- Excellent English verbal & written communication skills
- Effective time management skills and ability to work within deadlines
- Adaptability and effective problem solving skills
