The Role
AIRWAY is currently seeking multiple freight coordinators/warehouse operators to join our Botany warehouse team.

You'll play a key role in the safe and efficient movement of cargo through our facility. Working within a close-knit team, you'll help manage warehouse operations and freight handling activities while maintaining compliance with OH&S procedures.

Basic Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the safe and efficient receival, storage and dispatch of freight in line with operational procedures and WHS requirements
• Load, unload and handle cargo, including manual handling of freight up to 20-30kg
• Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment, including completing routine safety and equipment checks
• Manage incoming deliveries and accurately process freight documentation
• Pick, pack, label and prepare a variety of cargo, including dry, chilled, frozen and perishable products
• Liaise professionally with customers, drivers and internal team members to support smooth day-to-day operations
• General housekeeping and administration

Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, currently operating Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 3:00pm. As our operations continue to grow, shifts may expand to include weekends. Please note that start and finish times may vary based on operational requirements, so flexibility with working hours is essential.

About You
We're looking for reliable team players with previous warehouse experience who enjoy hands-on work and take pride in maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-organised workplace.

Required Skills & Experience

• Previous warehouse experience 
• A current Australian Driver's license and own transport
• A current Forklift License and confidence operating warehouse equipment
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting*
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while meeting operational deadlines
• Willingness to learn air cargo handling procedures, including perishables management and aircraft loading requirements
• Comfortable working across varied environments, including cool rooms, chillers, and ambient

*This role involves regular manual handling tasks, including lifting, carrying and moving heavy items up to 20-30kg. Candidates must be able to safely perform these inherent requirements of the position.
