SEAWAY is looking for a passionate and experienced Transport Supervisor to join our team in Altona North

The primary purpose of this role is to assist in the coordination of SEAWAYs transport services while conducting a variety of administrative, operational and customer functions as required.
Your main duties will include but are not limited to:

The primary purpose of this role is to assist in the coordination of SEAWAYs transport services while conducting a variety of administrative, operational and customer functions as required.
Your main duties will include but are not limited to:
- Negotiate pickup and delivery timeframes with customers
- Ensure exceptional customer service across all interactions
- Act as the main contact for delivery queries. Address and escalate delivery issues to the Transport & Operations Manager as needed.
- Coordinate fleet activities as required and aim to enhance operational efficiency
- Manage timeslot bookings using 1-Stop for wharf terminals and Container Chain for empty container bookings
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a transport related role
- Experience with staff supervision
- Wharf slotting, fleet controlling and strong understanding of freight forwarding
- Familiarity with Enterprise
- Strong customer service skills
- Safety focused
