We currently have a vacancy for an experienced and talented Business Services Operator to join the wonderful team at our South Perth office.

THE ROLE

Our ideal candidate is client-focused with a background in logistics operations, a passion for delivering solutions, excellent customer service skills, and an inherent ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Proactively and successfully manage a portfolio of corporate clients
• Deliver excellent frontline customer service, prioritising tasks to meet timeframes.
• Demonstrate a commitment to learning and growth, collaborating with team members to explore new ideas and solutions.
• Prepare quotations and consignment notes
• Manage freight bookings

Required Experienced & Skills:

• Previous operations experience with a freight forwarder or in a related industry
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Sound knowledge and understanding of freight management, pricing structures, volumes, weights, road rules/regulations.
• Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
• Proficiency with sales management software (preferred)
