SEAWAY are currently seeking highly organised individuals to join our Intermodal team at Merbein to coordinate the logistics with local pick up, loading and dispatch of warehouse freight in conjunction with the Rail Operations and Warehouse teams. The Role

This is a part-time position, with the opportunity for permanent, full-time employment. Reporting to our Warehouse Managers who has 20+ years’ experience in the industry, this is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to learn and develop their industry knowledge and skills in a dynamic, diverse environment. 
  
What will an average day look like?

A list of your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:  
  • Coordination of import and export orders
  • Customer Service – phone and email management
  • Customer Relationship Management
  • Documentation processing
  • Data Entry
  • Generation of Reports
  • Liaison with carriers, clients and internal and external teams
  
Who are we looking for?

This position will suit an experienced administrator or someone who is looking to develop their career in the transport and logistics industry. 
While prior experience in the industry will be highly regarded, it is not essential. Our team will provide training on our systems and processes to help you excel in this role.

Our ideal candidate will possess the following:
  • Thorough understanding of Microsoft Office
  • Intermediate computer literacy and familiarity with software programs
  • Excellent phone manner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Flexible on work hours during peak seasons
