IT Graduate

Located in Southbank, Melbounre (VIC)

SEAWAY is currently looking for a bright, motivated IT Graduate to deliver first-level technical support to the SEAWAY Group, spanning across our Australia, and New Zealand, and China offices. The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills, possess a can-do attitude, and have a willingness to learn.

This is a full-time, entry-level role, best suited to a graduate who wants to take the next step in advancing their IT career. Working as part of the Business Improvement team and reporting to the IT Manager, you will have the opportunity to learn a variety of different technologies and systems, within a highly supportive environment. 

Please note this is a fulltime office position. 

The Role 

Primary Responsibilities and Duties: 
  • Provision of Level 1 technical assistance to 500+ staff for day-to-day computing issues
  • Resolution or escalation of IT issues as required
  • Assist in administering and maintaining business infrastructure (computers, servers, network, phones printers, etc.)
  • Setup and configuration of desktop, laptop, and mobile devices
  • Maintain user accounts and systems access
  • Monitoring, investigation, and escalation of security alerts & notifications
  • Assist with IT projects and new implementations

Required Experience & Skills
  • Completed a relevant IT qualification 
  • Customer service experience in any industry
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Confident phone manner
  • Highly effective planning and organising skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage high volumes of work
  • Ability to work autonomously to resolve end-user problems
  • Energy & enthusiasm with a willingness to provide help to others
