The Opportunity
With growing volumes in our Export Seafreight department, we’re excited to expand our team. We’re looking for a Perishable Export Operator who enjoys working in a close-knit, collaborative team and is comfortable handling the seasonal rhythms of the perishable goods industry.
This is a great opportunity to work with a wide variety of export commodities and build strong relationships across our industry network. You’ll be supported by an experienced team and ongoing training

Your Role Your average day will include the following:
- Coordinate the entire end to end Export Seafreight Perishable process
- Liaise with suppliers, carriers, transport and warehousing providers and overseas agencies
- Liaising with operational teams to ensure smooth handling of shipments, ensuring any service issues are actioned and resolved
- Accurate invoice generation
- Database management and administration
- End to end management of export documentation
- Raising RFP’s and liaising with DAWR to clear shipments

What are we looking for? Our Successful Candidate Will Have:
- Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Logistics Operations with experience in the perishable sector preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Tertiary Qualification in Supply Chain or International Trade
- Knowledge of Cold Treatment preferrable
- Cargowise One and Edisoft experience are preferred but not essential
