Documentation Officer

Located in Adelaide Airport, (SA)

We are looking for a motivated logistics professional to join our  Export Sea division in the capacity of Export Documentation - Seafreight. With an opportunity to work with a broad range of customers and cargos, with a key focus on perishable commodities. 

This role will involve all aspects of Export Documentation with a strong focus on customer service. The successful applicant will have minimum 1 year experience in a similar role.


The Role 

This is a dynamic and hands-on position, working closely with our Operations Manager and the wider Export team to support seamless documentation processes and meet performance goals.

Step into the world of international logistics and play a critical role in ensuring smooth, timely, and accurate document flow for global shipments.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties: 
  • Ensure all relevant operational activities required prior to shipments being exported are completed within designated timeframes
  • Enjoy the excitement of managing documentation with precision and efficiency  
  • Updating relevant systems with all known shipment information
  • Liaison with shippers, couriers, warehouse staff and customers
  • Ad hoc administration & reporting
  • Ensure data integrity is maintained in all systems and key deadlines are met 
  • Contribute to the seamless movement of goods 
  • Customer service – action mail & telephone enquiries
  • Export documentation – including but not limited to arrival notices, delivery orders, Bills of Lading
  
About You  Required Experience & Skills
  • Minimum 1 years experience in export sea freight operations
  • Flexible attitude and excellent communication skills 
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage seasonal volumes
  • Seafreight Documentation experience essential
  • Knowledge of perishable documentation preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Excellent English verbal & written communication skills
