Customer Service Graduate - TS Lines Australia

SEAWAY is offering an exciting graduate opportunity to join our dynamic and fast-growing business. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Agencies, TS Lines team in a Customer Service capacity.

This is an excellent entry-level role for someone looking to kickstart their career in the shipping, logistics, and supply chain industry. Based in our conveniently located Southbank office, you'll have the chance to work closely with one of our key Principals, TS Lines, gaining hands-on experience in the day-to-day operations of a shipping line.

We’re seeking someone who demonstrates strong communication skills, a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A keen interest in logistics, international trade, or supply chain management will be advantageous but what matters most is a willingness to learn, a proactive approach, and a genuine interest in building a career in this field.

The Role

This role is within the TS Lines Customer Service team and creates the perfect stepping stone to establish yourself in an ever growing industry. With an opportunity to work with a broad range of customers and cargoes, this role will involve all aspects of Export & Import processes and will have a strong focus on customer service. 
  
Some key responsibilities of these role will include:
  • High level of customer service in all dealings with Principals and clients
  • Regular phone and email management
  • Import/Export processes including bookings, documentation and invoicing
  • Ensure all relevant operational activities required prior to shipments being exported & imports arriving are completed within designated timeframes
  • Updating relevant systems with all known shipment information
  • Liaison with shippers, importers & our principle offices around the world. 
  • Ad hoc administration & reporting

  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Excellent English verbal & written communication skills
  • Team Player
  • A qualification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is a plus but not a must
