AIRWAY is seeking a Operations Supervisor to lead and support our dynamic team in delivering effective and efficient freight forwarding solutions for our clients.
The Role
Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead and support a team of Business Services Operators to meet performance targets and service standards.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Manage a portfolio of key corporate clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Oversee and coordinate freight bookings, consignment preparation, and carrier selection.
- Provide guidance on preparing quotations, managing service timelines, and resolving any service issues.
- Monitor workload distribution and assist with prioritising tasks to meet deadlines and SLAs.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and work with management to implement them.
- Previous supervisory or team lead experience in a logistics, freight forwarding, or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of freight management systems, pricing structures, transport regulations, and compliance.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise under pressure.
- Experience with sales or logistics management software (preferred).
- Client-focused, solutions-oriented, and a natural problem solver.
