Export Operations - Perishable

Located in either Southbank, Melbourne (VIC) or Adelaide Airport (SA)

The Opportunity

With growing volumes in our Export Seafreight division, we’re looking for a Perishable Export Operator to join our collaborative team. This role offers the chance to work across a wide variety of export commodities, build strong industry relationships, and gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced perishable goods sector.

You’ll be backed by an experienced team, ongoing training, and the support you need to succeed.

What You’ll Do In this role:
  • Manage the end-to-end Export Seafreight Perishable process
  • Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, transport and warehousing providers, and overseas agencies
  • Work closely with operational teams to resolve any service issues quickly and effectively
  • Prepare accurate invoices and maintain database records
  • Handle export documentation from start to finish
  • Raise RFPs and liaise with DAWR to clear shipments

The ideal candidate will bring:
  • Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
  • At least 3 years’ experience in logistics operations (perishable sector experience preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain or International Trade
  • Knowledge of Cold Treatment (preferred)
  • Experience with Cargowise One and Edisoft (preferred but not essential)
